Patti has been making lists and checking them twice - lists for EVERYTHING: things we'll need, things to do by October, things to investigate before we begin shopping, possible names for the baby, etc.
We began the fun of naming baby Lulu (Swahili for pearl), as we're calling the baby for now. We started with 70,000 different names from our library of baby name books and narrowed that down to a "short" list of 10 names that we both chose independently. Names NOT chosen were "P" names or names of anyone we've dated in the past. We also gave each other 100% veto power to scratch any names that either of us didn't like. We'll continue to modify our list in the months to come.
Patrick thought he figured out the sex of the baby during a sonogram...and then realized he was actually seeing the umbilical cord.
